You only have one chance to get it right Getting married is perhaps one of the most important things you will ever do and getting it right can't be left to chance, and with the photography, as with all the other elements, you only get one opportunity to do it. You will probably spend months, perhaps even years, organising things, so on the day you want to be sure everything runs according to plan. When you choose your wedding photographer, of coure you need to look at their work to date to see whether you like it, but also you need to feel comfortable with them. Being a good wedding photographer is more than just being able to take a good photo, not all photograpers, no matter how skilled they are, can be a good wedding photographer - it is all about being able to make you and your guests relax as much as it is about being able to take good photographs. Good wedding photographers have excellent communication skills, are able to control the situation and can 'see' the photographic possibilities in each location. My aim is to provide a truly personal and individual record of your day. There will generally be a mix of reportage style and more formal group shots, however if you have anything specific in mind I am more than happy to consider your ideas and use them wherever possible. I will have detailed discussions with you prior to the big day to make sure you know what will happen from the photography perspective, and that I am certain of your specific requirements. Some photographers work on autopilot and treat every wedding exactly the same, I do not subscribe to this philosophy and treat each couple as individuals.
